The OKO House, designed by Youmehshe Architects, is the first house in the UK to be designed to utilise Vacuum Insulation Panels in a modular prefabricated residential building. The OKO House will achieve both the Passivhaus standard and the Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 to 6 (according to specification). A range of renewable energy soluions may be specified including biomass boiler, photovoltaics and wind turbines. A whole house heat recovery ventillation system meeting building regulations Part Q and Passivhaus requirements, is fitted as standard.
