Zero Energy Source Building

Definition: A source Zero Energy Building produces as much energy as it uses as measured at the source. To calculate a building’s total source energy, both imported and exported energy are multiplied by the appropriate site-to-source energy factors. To make this calculation, power generation and transmission factors are needed.
