The Group "Bauphysik & Solarenergie" concentrates in research and education on the topics:
* building physics,
* rational use of energy,
* renewable energies, especially solar energy,
* fluid mechanics and environment.
These working fields are extraordinarily diverse and closely related to application, leading to co-operation with other faculties, universities, institutions and firms. All our work is financed by Projects. The work includes measurements on materials, components or buildings, development of calculation algorithms and software, evaluation and application thereof in practice as well as development of multimedia information and education material.
