Estimate the local annual mean wind speed
The Wind Yield Estimator Tool will enable you to estimate the local annual mean wind speed at your chosen location in the UK and the annual yield and carbon savings of small wind turbines. The calculation methodology has been developed by the Met Office and the Carbon Trust. To use the yield estimation tool, it is necessary to login or register on the Carbon Trust website.
