Silk Road Solar Africa (USA and Africa)

Africa has the highest number of sun hours per day and yet the lowest per capita useage of solar technology. Cost is the primary bottleneck to the growth of Solar Technology in Africa. At Silk Road Solar Africa our goal is to develop or customize low cost but highly effective solar technology for Africa.

Silk Road Solar Africa is a joint venture partnership between Dumadushi Enterprises Group, Sound Power Inc and Seattle's Best Plumbing company. While it is headquartered in Seattle Washington State USA, Silk Road Solar Africa was primarily set up to help bridge the solar technology gap in Africa. Silk Road Solar Africa has offices in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
