Integrated Environmental Solutions has added an energy modeler “plug-in” to Google SketchUp that can take a SketchUp model, and with a little extra data about the local climate, orientation, materials and use patterns, can predict how the building will perform. Google SketchUp, a free 3-D modeling program is an amazing bit of software just by itself. Use it to design buildings and in industrial design projects.
