Setanta Solar System Certification

For Solar Hot Water collectors to be sold in Oregon and receive State of Oregon tax credits, Energy Trust incentives and to be part of BrightWay they MUST be sold as part of a system which is certified or in the process of being certified by SRCC, the Solar Rating Institute as OG-300 compliant.

All systems are tested in the same environments so that there is a relatively level playing field and a performance base for comparing systems. The tested environments are not and cannot always be reflective of every environment and system performance can vary.

From a consumer standpoint this provides some enhanced protection in that the solution is rated to work as specified for the system and conditions present at the installed location ( Regions 1,2 or 3 in Oregon). The system identifies all of the components used and takes into account the relative performance of each contributing to the performance of the whole system.
