Clay Roof Tile
SourceUS Tile's clay roof tiles are Cradle-to-Cradle certified and 100 percent recyclable. Recycled content is up to 59 percent. Seventy-five percent of US Tile's domestically manufactured mission tile products have an SRI rating of 25 or better for compliance with Energy Star for cool roofing that reduces heat island effect. Incidentally, similar clay tiles can still be seen on the Coliseum in Rome over 2,000 years after they were installed.
US Tile also produces the Sole power tiles that install like a standard piece of tile with no additional penetrations into the to tile or roofing deck. Designed to seamlessly integrate with our mission profile tiles, the result is a solar power system that can be installed so the solar components are not readily visible.
Cool roof clay roofing tiles from US Tile are 100 percent recyclable with recycled content up to 59 percent. The domestically-produced tiles are Cradle to Cradle certified.
