Metaalwarenfabriek Phoenix applies rubber pad–based metal forming to manufacturing double-curved sheet metal products. Only one mold is required in rubber-pad forming; the rubber pad assumes the function of the counter-mold and sheet metal holder combined. Tooling costs are therefore 10–25 percent lower than for traditional deep-drawing. A variety of patterns are possible using the rubber-pad forming technique. No-Limit Panels are applicable for exterior and interior design.
