The Green Seal foundation was established in 1989 to help businesses make cleaner, greener choices in manufacturing their products. Products with Green Seal Certification have reduced the environmental and health impact. The evaluation of products starts with the raw materials from which the product is created. The next step in the analysis deals with how the product is manufactured. Finally, the capability and disposal of the product is determined. On-site visitations are also part of the process to certify a product with the Green Seal.
The researchers and workers of Green Seal work with the government as well. Their scientific-based research help determine the best and safest ways for the law makers to standardize the way merchandise is manufactured.
