Nature's Carpet is an international manufacturer and distributor of 100 percent wool carpets, offering more than 60 styles and colors of 100 percent wool carpets. Nature's Carpet is suitable for a wide variety of residential and commercial purposes. As all consumers - individual, corporate, and government - increasingly appreciate the long term implications of their buying decisions, there is literally no application for which the durability, comfort, and environmentally-responsible nature of Nature's Carpet is not suitable.

Nature's Carpet carries the following certifications:

CRI Green Label Plus - The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) provides the CRI Green Label Plus designation to carpet products that pass stringent tests of chemical emissions. The designation is intended to provide comfort to architects, builders, specifiers and facility mangers who want assurances that carpet and adhesive products meet the most stringent criteria for low chemical emissions. All of the Nature's Carpet products have received this designation.

ISO - ISO is the International Organization for Standardization, and certifies manufacturing facilities as being robust in many categories, primarily quality of production. The primary manufacturing facility for Dark Green carpets is ISO 9001 certified.

Nature's Carpet products are, as the name implies, carpets made from nature. Our line of carpets has been tailored to accommodate the consumer who wishes to make a flooring purchase decision with consideration to its environmental impact, but does not wish to sacrifice quality and style in doing so. Nature's Carpet successfully strikes this balance, offering over 60 styles and colors of 100 percent wool carpets.

Nature's Carpet takes a pro-active approach to environmental issues. Our carpets, and in particular our "Dark Green" products, are derived from fully sustainable sources, and can be absorbed into the earth in their existing form once their flooring lives are completed. Traditional carpets may be made with a small percentage of recycled content, with the remainder being synthetic products, treated with chemicals, which do not biodegrade. Nature's Carpet comes from and can be returned to earth.

At Nature's Carpet, ongoing research and product development efforts enable us to offer an ever-greater selection of natural floor coverings.

How we make it

Nature's Carpet products are manufactured in a variety of locations, but the primary manufacturing base for our Dark Green products is a facility located in Australia, in Dandenong. Two spinning mills allow the company to be a vertically integrated manufacturer with the flexibility to produce pure wool yarns of very high quality. Our environmental commitment is carried out at every stage of the production, from manufacture to installation. A focus on product development ensures innovative carpet styling and coloring that meets current trends in the marketplace.

Our Australian mills have attained ISO9001-2000 Quality Accreditation (constant quality control) and are committed to an ongoing high standard for both products and customer service. Continual investment in modern equipment ensures that product quality remains first-class and that our mills retain their reputation for excellence.
